I managed to take a video of this fieldfare (Turdus pilaris) team before they went to the reed to spend the night there.

Egy bagolyköpetet (valószínű gyöngybagoly - Tyto alba) találtunk és szedtünk szét. A köpet elsősorban baglyok által, de más madárfajok által is kiöklendezett megemésztetlen táplálék (kitinvázak, csontok, szőr...). A macskák is öklendeznek ki köpeteket, itt azonban a saját nem megemésztett szörzetről van szó.

We found a barn owl's (Tyto alba) pellet and we took it to pieces. The pellet is the food, which is not digested and the owls and other bird species retch it out for example: kitin shell, bonos, hair. The cats retch the pellet out but it is their own hairs which is not digested.

    

A zoológusok számára fontos információkkal szolgálnak az elfogyasztott zsákmányállatokról, melyet az adott madárfaj elfogyasztott. Ezen kívül a köpetek elemzése árulkodik a területen előforduló faunáról, az adott zsákmányállatok állományalakulásáról. Amiket benne találtunk, megpróbáltuk kirakni és vélhetően öt kisrágcsáló maradványai lehettek.

This pellet gives important pieces of information for the zoologists, because they can get to know what seized animals the special bird species had. What's more the pellet tells about fauna in the area and the number of seized animals. We tried to take out everything of it we found inside and there were five rodent's remains.
